Office

We are closed on Fridays during June, July and August. During this time, we are open until 4 PM on Wednesdays.

Appointments

Please call us at (410) 778-0003 (Chestertown) or 410-228-8106 (Cambridge) to schedule an appointment. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please kindly give us at least 24 hours notice.

Insurance and Billing

We accept most traditional insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure. Also, Shore Dermatology works in partnership with the Kent County Health Department as well as providing a Sliding Scale Fee Schedule for those individuals who are uninsured or do or have the ability to pay. Discounts for essential services are offered depending upon family size and income. Patients may discuss options with Cheryl Bish, our in-house billing manager. Shore Dermatology provides services to all patients regardless of the ability to pay.

Referrals

As outlined in most insurance policies, it is the responsibility of the patient to obtain a referral prior to the office visit if indicated by the insurance carrier. If you are uncertain if you need a referral, please call the telephone number located on the back of your insurance card for verification. If you arrive without a referral, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.
